Frequently Asked Questions
In this section of the site we have tried to answer all of the questions or concerns that you may have before entrusting your pet with The Dog Walkers. If there is a question that isn’t covered on this page then please feel free to contact us!
Why choose The Dog Walkers?
We love dogs! When I was young my parents tried to fob me off with a budgie rather than the dog that I wanted so badly. It didn’t work. After endless whining, whinging and moaning I finally got my own way and at the age of 8, Pebbles, the Yorkshire Terrier puppy was brought into our home. From then on we’ve had Rocky, Max and Millie!I have spent my entire life around dogs. I understand and have felt first hand the love that dog owners have for their dogs. They’re more than an animal, they are a part of the family and we at The Dog Walkers take this very seriously and take pride in, not only keeping your dogs happy and exercised but also safe.
Where do you take your dogs for their walks?
We have a number of walk locations that we go to. We vary this from walk to walk to give the dogs (and us!) some variety! Locations are always safe and away from traffic.Waterhall – one of our favourite locations on the edge of town. Waterhall is made up of 2 rugby pitches, forest and woodland areas and a dew pond for the dogs that enjoy the odd swim (with owners permission!)!
Stanmer Park & Woods – the dogs enjoy a run in the endless fields and then a rummage through the undergrowth in the vast woodland! Again, safe and away from traffic
Wild Park – Wild Park is the perfect location for dog walks. The dogs can run straight onto the green and into the woods which lead up to yet another field and a pond!
Devil’s Dyke and The South Downs – Endless fields for the dogs to play in. These areas are so vast that we never take the same route twice! The dogs never get bored up here.
East Brighton Park- Perfect windy paths, little pockets of trees and large fields for the dogs to run and roll around in! Never a dull moment!
How many dogs do you take on each walk?
